Don’t be afraid. They’ll give you medicine to make you feel comfortable during your dying moments. At first you will have very shallow breathing then you will lose consious (like sleeping) then you will never wake up. I’m 31 and i’m also suspected to have colon cancer but i’m not afraid. In fact i look forward for death. I have a wife and a kid. I’m gonna miss them but that’s life. Death comes in the end. Everyone dies at the end of our chapter. We will leave the world sooner or later.

Most are just plain afraid of hearing bad news: a polypectomy (removal of a polyp), requiring a recovery period of about 7-10 days, or worse, cancer. The whole thing is usually over in less than 25 minutes. I recommend that you ask for propofol (Diprivan). It’ll knock you out in about 20 seconds, and you’ll awaken like nothing ever happened. Read the posts on colonoscopies for reassurance.

Harry Smith is either lying about his colonoscopy or just made himself look like an idiot.

They put you under before the examination; smith wanted to watch his procedure but the doc said he was done already, 4:13 . How does he not realize that when he wakes up in a hospital bed all groggy that he just had the procedure done?
Unless his IQ dips in to the negative, he is lying about the procedure and his lack of knowledge is obvious

Colonoscopy is totally painless (depends on the exp of the practioner) BUT endoscopy hurts like hell even with propofol. When you get up your throat and lungs feels like burning and even when you a re asllep you WILL choke once in a while.
